LED directional warning lights for emergency vehicles

An LED directional light (lighthead) is a category X flashing lamp under ECE R65 — mounted in the grille, bumper, on a mirror or behind the windscreen, it extends the roof signaling to the front and sides of the vehicle. XPULSE is just 10 mm thick, holds ECE R65 class 2 type approval and runs in single or dual color with independent color control.

XPULSE — an ultra-slim warning lamp

Six High-Power LEDs with precision optics in a 111.5 × 28 × 10 mm housing. Warning lights for the grille and behind the front fascia, bumper and mirror lamps, mounted horizontally or vertically. Clear-lens versions — the lens stays colorless regardless of the light color.

Dash lights and unmarked vehicles

The dash-light variant with an anti-reflective collar eliminates windscreen reflections — a discreet blue windscreen lamp for unmarked vehicles. Front LED lamps mounted behind the grille remain invisible until switched on.

Synchronization and flash patterns

12 flash patterns with synchronous or alternating operation and synchronization of up to 10 lamps — synchronized directional lights form a coherent picture with the light bar and corner lamps. Blue-red or blue-white dual-color variants with independent control of each color. Multi-voltage 10–30 V DC supply.

Category X supplements — it does not replace

A category X directional lamp does not replace a 360° lamp (category T or HT) — it does not satisfy the full geometric visibility requirement. A complete installation combines a light bar or beacon with lightheads at the front and sides.

  • Instead of modules recessed into the vehicle's headlamps we recommend the 10 mm XPULSE — a surface-mount LED lamp so thin it fits the typical hideaway locations (grille, front fascia) without modifying the vehicle's factory lamps or voiding their approvals.

We will match a configuration to your vehicle.

Describe the vehicle and the fleet's duties — we will propose a set with the full type-approval documentation.
