PULSAR 3K — about the product
PULSAR 3K is Emertronic's flagship beacon — 36 High-Power LEDs, 12 per each of three certified colors, in one low-profile 360° housing. An emergency vehicle today, roadworks protection tomorrow, always the same equipment on the roof.
Mounting PULSAR — three ways
The beacon mounts on the vehicle roof with its axis perpendicular to the ground. A rubber element protects the panel from scratching and seals the joint. The choice of mount depends on whether the beacon stays on the roof permanently or is meant to be removable.
A · 3-POINT3-point mounting
Three points spaced 120° apart: 3× M6 bolted from under the roof, or 3× M5 from above — in the latter variant the lens comes off before installation.
Selection: Permanent installation on flat paneling. The rubber seals the joint, but an additional sealant is used against water ingress.
B · MAGNETICMagnetic mounting
A base of high-holding-force neodymium magnets. The rubber element protects the roof and keeps the beacon from sliding on the panel.
Selection: When the beacon is to be removable: tool-free installation, no drilling, on a steel roof. Effectiveness confirmed by the PIMOT test.
C · 1-POINT1-point mounting
A single central M12 bolt in a dedicated hole, tightened with the nut and washer supplied in the kit.
Selection: When the roof already has a prepared central hole. The rubber seals the joint — additional sealant recommended.
